what is pidbot?
pidbot is software created by JLB Controls for tuning industrial PID controllers. It has become an essential tool, helping us rapidly and accurately tune PIDs for the vast majority of process industry applications. We created pidbot as an Ignition® SCADA module to simplify integration and user experience. Install pidbot, and benefit from a simple, effective tuning procedure, standardized across all of your devices, on a familiar platform.

1. RECORD
Capture data from your process using the pidbot's recording function, or import process data from another source in Ignition.
2. MODEL
Fit a process model to the data using pidbot's built-in modeling tool.
3. TUNE
Simulate your process under PID control using different tuning values. Use values automatically suggested by pidbot, or adjust manually. Instantly view the impact of tuning adjustments, and select appropriate tuning values.
